Here are some of our most recent Benevolence Projects in the Wayne County area!
In June 2017 the Norwayne HPAC donated $250.00
towards Rails to Trails of Wayne County's campaign
to build another local trail, the Heartland Trail, in
Orrville, Ohio.
During the summer of 2017 the Norwayne
HPAC donated $300.00 to the Rittman Garden
Club and helped them build a shelter and
picnic area at the Rittman County Line Trail
Trailhead. The shelter was dedicated on
November 12, 2017.

In April 2016, the Norwayne HPAC donated $1,060 of
revenue and donations from the 2016 County Line
Trail 5K and Rainbow Run to Joey Leininger, a
Norwayne student who battled a rare form of cancer.
He has since passed away.
In June 2016 the Norwayne HPAC donated
$1,000.00 to Rails to Trails of Wayne County for
the maintenance, development, and promotion
of the County Line Trail.

In April 2016 the Norwayne HPAC donated $1,000.00
to the Sterling Freight House Depot Restoration and
Preservation Project in Sterling, Ohio. A local group
of Wayne County citizens are restoring and
preserving the 150+ year old structure, the
last and the oldest remnant of Sterling's rich
railroading heritage still intact today.
